The story revolves around Precious Ramotswe, a clever and astute woman who defies social expectations to open her own detective agency. Throughout Botswana and Kalahari Desert and followed by her friend J.L.B Matekoni, she will be reaching for all the villains of the country, with her humour ! But, how this fat woman in love with Africa end up fighting for her dad and her values ? I really liked it and I think you will enjoy it too if you want to immerse in the african culture, we can almost feel the warm sun on our faces, and hear the sounds of bustling markets. I recommend this novel to the people who wants to take a breath in their lives. The level is not difficult , and the beginner readers can easily, in english, begin with this book (it's the first book of a series of seventeen). You will love the characters and the story. A rare Pleasure, really.
